My son has been attending this playschool for the last three years, and I am truly happy and content with our decision. The teachers are amazing, the director is approachable, and the team genuinely listens to any concerns and works thoughtfully on them. They truly believe that every child is unique and that the early years are the most important foundation years. I also love the different kinds of meetings and events they organise. The Exhibition of Learning, Family Day, and even the Student-Led Conference for such young children are truly commendable. I’ve seen impressive progress in my child — from the early days of crying to go to school, to now waking up excited and looking forward to it every day. My son has been studying at Diversity since 2023 and we are very happy having him enrolled there as we've witnessed remarkable growth in his confidence, communication and creativity. He has already learnt 3 languages. The teachers are approachable, always willing to help, and use mix of Montessori/Waldorf methods that help children learn concepts effortlessly. The parent-teacher meetings give us valuable insights into our child’s journey, plus events like family day, SLC connects us not only with teachers but other parents as well. Most of the schools that we came across were focusing on the Syllabus/homework aspects and the interaction with them gave us a feeling of a machinery approach where they tend to groom kids right from the young age of PP-1/LKG. Then we came across the school "Diversity - The Playschool" at Gachibowli. The first interaction with Mehek gave us the confidence that this is the place where the school focus on knowledge and values rather than the syllabus and grinding. The change in my kid's behavior was visible at home in the initial few months of joining itself. Below are the few of the initiatives/programs that the school implemented which had really helped our kid in gaining knowledge/values: 1. Reading Slokas and Praying to the God (Morning prayers in school ensured that the kids read the slokas and pray to god daily) 2. Meditation and Yoga (Kid use to teach us the meditation and yoga postures at home which were learnt in school :) ) 3. No Screen Time activity (This was one the initiative that literally ensured my kid doesn't see mobile/TV/tab, due to this initiative my kid doesn't see any electronic device from Mon-Fri. On Saturday, Sunday we allocated an hour where he can watch some anime movies. The initiative had reporting consolidation from parents and the school staff use to appreciate and guide the kids accordingly) 4. Junk Food/Live Food (This was one of the innovative activity from school where they use to send the cards labelling the Junk Food/ Live Food in the lunch box to parents. I really admire the school for this initiative, due to this initiative my kid have stopped eating chocolate and other junk food items. Weekly once/twice we offer him as a token of appreciation) 5. Art Work/Activities in school (The activities/art work that's taught in school are very informative and attractive, my kid use to literally tell me daily the activities that he did in school and he is to practice and give us demo at home too. One of the activity was gems activity where in a plate of water, we need to place the gems and the color disperse in water indicating the chemicals associated to it. This activity made him realized that the gems had chemicals and comes under Junk food) 6. My kid really enjoys the school atmosphere and is always eager and happy to go to school (even on Saturday, Sunday :) ). The joyful and playful atmosphere maintained by school staff really keeps kids interesting and going Above are only few examples of the good work done by them, I'm sure that school would be coming up with many such innovative/creative ideas to keep kids engaged and informed. Thanks a lot Mehek and team for taking care of kids so well and grooming them with the knowledge and skills.
